LT Game Upgrades Macau LMG Terminals with New Side Bets

Macau-based gaming technology firm, LT Game Ltd, known for its electronic table games, is enhancing its live multi-game (LMG) installations. As a leading name in the sector, LT Game is now adding exciting new side bets like 'Lucky 7', 'two- or three-card Lucky 7', and 'Super Lucky 7' to its LMG booths across Macau. This move aims to replicate the success of similar features already present on conventional baccarat tables, thereby attracting more gaming enthusiasts.

Enhancing the Gaming Experience in Macau

Eddie Au, the Chief Operating Officer of LT Game, shared insights on this strategic upgrade with GGRAsia. He highlighted that a substantial portion, potentially 75 to 90 percent, of LT Game's LMG terminals in Macau will receive these 7s bets enhancements. Presently, these terminals already support the 'Lucky 6' and 'Small/Big 6' side bets. With around 5,300 LMG betting terminals currently operational in Macau, this upgrade is set to significantly refresh the gaming experience for users.

Au also mentioned the prevalence of LT Game's product within Macau's live-dealer multi-game segment. This format merges a stadium-like arrangement of electronic betting terminals with human dealers, allowing for digital bet placement and settlement. As a part of Paradise Entertainment Ltd, LT Game continues to pioneer this combined traditional and digital gambling experience.

Implications for Macau's Gaming Revenue

Since October of the previous year, Lucky 7 and Super Lucky 7 bets have been popular features on live-dealer baccarat games in Macau. As casinos increasingly use smarter table technologies, dealers find it easier to manage the new complex bet types. This likely simplifies the integration of similar features on LMG platforms.

In a prior interview with GGRAsia in September, Mr. Au projected revenue boosts for LT Game, attributing this to enhanced side betting options. Despite starting from a smaller base, the income generated through LMGs has outperformed broader market trends in terms of growth rate.

Between January and September, the accrued gross gaming revenue (GGR) for LMGs reached MOP3.72 billion (approximately US$464 million), marking a 17.7 percent increase from MOP3.16 billion in the corresponding period of the prior year, according to Macau's casino regulator data.

Astoundingly, the city's total GGR for the same time frame was MOP181.34 billion, indicating a mere 7.1 percent rise year-on-year. These figures underscore the increasing prominence of LT Game's offerings and their potential to shape Macau's gaming landscape.
