Bee Macau Factory Introduces Innovative Playing Cards

The newly inaugurated Bee Macau manufacturing plant, which started its full-scale production in early May, marked its official ceremony on Tuesday. The facility has introduced exciting new products, including the "Bee 68" playing cards and the "Bee Click-Shoe" card shoe.

This major development was highlighted in a recent press release following an event attended by Macau officials. The Bee 68 playing cards come equipped with advanced tracking technologies, while the Bee Click-Shoe features an innovative cartridge system, setting new standards for quality and security.

A Strategic Partnership for Global Reach

Bee Macau is a result of collaboration between Belgium-based Cartamundi Group and Asia Pioneer Entertainment Holdings Ltd (APE), a Hong Kong-listed entity active in Macau. Cartamundi, which acquired the United States Playing Card Co in 2019, is a global force in card manufacturing, famous for its Bee brand.

The factory's foundation required an investment of around HKD500 million (US$63.8 million) and followed five years of strategic planning, technology development, exhaustive testing, and a pilot production program. Herman Ng, CEO of Asia Pioneer Entertainment, remarked on the global distribution potential of Macau-made playing cards, which reflect the esteemed "Macau Standard." Regulatory milestones were also achieved with Macau's casino regulator approving new versions of the Bee-tek security dealing shoe systems.
