In line with the leadership transition, Kenneth Feng, who previously held the roles of president and executive director, has been appointed as the new chief executive of MGM China. The company stated this new role is set for a three-year term starting December 19, 2025. Mr. Feng's extensive experience with MGM Resorts International since 2001, where he held various positions in finance, advisory, strategic operations, and development, equipped him well for the new responsibility.
His compensation package includes a fixed annual salary of US$1.5 million, with an additional management bonus contingent on the firm’s operating results. In 2024, his total earnings as president were close to HKD24.20 million (approximately US$3.1 million).
Further changes in the executive lineup include the appointment of Tian Han as the new chief operating officer, taking over the position from Mr. Wang. Additionally, Antonio Menano has been elevated to chief legal officer. Both Mr. Han and Mr. Menano have been instrumental in the company's journey since its crucial phase prior to the launch of the MGM Macau property in 2007. They have contributed to significant initiatives within the organization, bolstering its success.
MGM China operates two prominent properties in Macau: MGM Macau and MGM Cotai, the latter situated in the bustling Cotai casino district. Mr. Han previously served as the executive vice president of gaming operations and strategic marketing. Meanwhile, Mr. Menano was the executive vice president of legal and general counsel.
According to MGM China, these appointments are part of a broader strategy to reinforce their leadership in Macau's competitive gaming and hospitality market, reflecting a commitment to operational excellence. This strategic focus underpins MGM China's vision of maintaining its market leadership.
