These pictures were taken between July 27 and August 1, 2007.

  • Typical street scene. The trams are mostly made of wood. The fare is only $2 HK.
  • My friend, Michael Bluejay, on said one of said trams.
  • The Bank of China tower. This building is often accused of having bad feng shui.
  • Central Hong Kong street scene, with an oddly shaped building.
  • Victoria peak
  • This building is IFC (International Finance Centre), or more specifically IFC2. It houses mostly offices but also has Hong Kongs nicest (and most expensive) shopping mall at the bottom of it (referred to as IFC mall). I believe it is the tallest building in Hong Kong.

  • The picture was taken in the lobby of my hotel, the Regal Hong Kong, in Causeway Bay.

  • One of numerous wet markets in Hong Kong. The local papers lamented the disappearance of such markets, to make way for urban renewal projects.

These pictures were all taken at the Tian Tan Buddha site on August 8, 2007. I had to cut my visit short because it started pouring rain after I descended from the hill.
